A look at some NASCAR Sprint Cup Series facts and figures from Texas Motor Speedway as the series runs the Samsung 500 this Sunday, April 6.


0 - Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Clint Bowyer have all had zero DNF's at Texas - the only four drivers to do so out of the current top-12.
1 - Dale Earnhardt, Jr. won his first Cup series race at Texas Motor Speedway in 2000.
2 - Matt Kenseth finished second in both Texas races in 2007.
3 - Dale Earnhardt Jr. has three top-five finsihes at Texas with seven top-10s, one victory, and one pole out of his 11 starts there.
4 - Four of the top-five drivers in Texas Driver Rating, over the past six races, have won series championships – Tony Stewart-109.3, Jimmie Johnson-104.1, Matt Kenseth-103.2, and Kurt Busch-98.0. Only Denny Hamlin ranked fourth in the Driver Rating category with a 100.1, has not won a championship.
5 - Of all current drivers, Jeff Gordon and Mark Martin are tied with the most top-five finishes at Texas, with five.
6 - Jeff Gordon has the sixth-most Fastest Laps Run, with 90.
(Fastest Laps Run is determined by the number of laps a driver had the fastest speed on the lap.)
7 - Tony Stewart has seven top-10 finishes at Texas; he also has one victory and three top-fives there.
8 - Out of eight career starts at Texas, Casey Mears has two top-fives and four top-10s.
9 - Jimmie Johnson, in nine career starts at Texas, has one win, four top-fives, and seven top-10s.
10 - Ten drivers have scored Coors Light Poles at Texas, led by Bobby Labonte and Ryan Newman (two each).
12 - The most cautions to take place at Texas is 12 (4/2/00 and 11/5/06).
14 - In the 14 Texas races, there have been 13 different winners; only Jeff Burton has captured more than one victory since the track opened (1997, 2007).
17 - The most drivers to lead a race at Texas has been 17.
44 - Dale Jarrett, is the oldest driver to win at Texas: 44 years, 4 months, 6 days (4/1/01).
62.7 - Ryan Newman has the lowest Driver Rating at Texas, of 62.7, among drivers currently in the top-12 this season.
196.235 - Brian Vickers holds Texas Motor Speedway's Pole Record at 196.235 (11/3/2006).
