2002: Participated in 10 out of 23 NHRA events; Drove Don Vanderwoody’s Flying Dutchman Funny Car in Topeka; Suffered a devastating fire in Indianapolis; and generated $5,000 donation for the Children’s Burn Center in Las Vegas and $5,000 for the Children’s’ Burn Center in Marina del Ray, Calif.
2001: Participated in 11 out of 23 NHRA events; Finished in the top 20 in points; Licensed in a Top Fuel dragster and competed in the Australian National Drag Racing Association World Finals, qualifying third and finishing in the semifinals.
2000: Ran 11 events, piloting several different Funny Car’s; A horrific fire at Memphis landed Haddock in the hospital burn center for three months.
1999: Attended four events, qualifying for the first time in Brainerd, Minn.
1998: Earned his Funny Car license; Competed in Reading, Pa., and Pomona, Calif.
1997: Began campaigning and racing self-owned and operated Funny Cars at local tracks; Served as a crewmember for Doug Herbert, Tim Wilkerson, and Keith Jackson.
1996: Raced an AA/Altered.
1995: Raced front-engine dragster in a car that was sold to Don Garlits, who now has it on display at the Garlits’ Drag Race Museum in Ocala, Fla.
