In 2006, Tony Raines, will drive the No. 96 DLP HDTV NEXTEL Cup Series Chevrolet in 29 races for the newly formed Hall of Fame Racing headed by former Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach.
In 2007, Raines raced 34 of 36 races, gaining one top-10 and leading six laps throughout the season. Raines finished 29th in Cup standings.
