Michel Disdier, who began racing at 14 years old, has had a varied driving career, including moto-cross and endurance racing. In 1991, the Nice, France native switched all of his focus on formula racing and is switching gears and making the transition into stock car auto racing. Disdier will make his stock car debut in the ARCA RE/MAX Series in 2008 in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 presented by Federated Auto Parts at Salem Speedway.
Disdier tested a stock car for the first time in May of 2007 and competed in a NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit in Montreal the following August.
