In 2008, Schatz opened a new chapter in his racing career, when he joined forces with Tony Stewart Racing in pursuit of his third consecutive World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series title. He picked up right where he left off in 2008, winning a series-best 18 A-Feature events, en route to the series championship.
Schatz made it back-to-back World of Outlaw Sprint Series championships in 2007 after earning 71 Top-10 finishes in 75 A-Feature events.
Schatz also became the first driver in sprint car racing history to win the Knoxville Nationals, the Kings Royal, the National Open, the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup and the Williams Grove Summer Nationals in the same season (2007).
In 2006, Schatz won his first World of Outlaws Sprint Series title on the strength of 17 A-Feature wins, and an impressive 42 top-five finishes.
After finishing second four times in the Knoxville Nationals, Schatz finally captured his first Nationals win in the 46th running of the prestigious event.
Schatz won five races, scored 18 top five finishes and 26 top-10 finishes in the final 29 starts of 2005.
Schatz finished fourth in the standings in 2005.
He finished third in the standings in 2004 after winning six A-Features.
Schatz wrapped up the 2004 season by winning the finale at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and started the 2005 season with a victory in the finale of Outlaws Down Under II at Parramatta City Raceway in Australia.
