Saldana finished 2008 fourth in points, to earn his third consecutive top-five finish in the World of Outlaws championship standings, on the strength of 45 top-10 finishes, with 31 of those being top fives. The biggest win of the season for the team came at Skagit Speedway in Washington, one of car owner Kasey Kahne’s home tracks.
In 2007, Saldana won a total of 13 events this season with the World of Outlaws, including the $50,000 Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway in California.
Saldana won seven races in 2006, including the $50,000 Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway with Kasey Kahne Racing.
Saldana scored one preliminary win in 2005 and finished 13th in the final standings.
