Travis Kvapil joined Bang! Racing in 2004 to drive the No. 24 Line-X Toyota truck. He won two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, including the first for Toyota at Michigan International Speedway. That season Kvapil also qualified fifth in his first Cup race at Martinsville Speedway in October driving in his first race for Roger Penske.
Kvapil came from third to first in the points standings in the final race in 2003 to win the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship title. That season he completed all but one lap, capturing one win, 13 top-five and 22 top-10 finishes.
In 2001, Kvapil won his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race and finished fourth in the points. He also won the Raybestos Rookie of the Year.
In 2005, Kvapil replaced Brendan Gaughan as driver of the No. 77 Kodak Dodge in the Cup Series where he finished with two top-10 finishes.
In 2006, he made 31 starts in the No. 32 Tide Chevrolet for Cal Wells. Kvapil took the Cup season off in 2007, but returned in 2008 to race a full-time schedule for Yates Racing.
Kvapil captured his first career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole that year, posted four top-10 finishes and finished 23rd in the rankings.
